Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is Solutions™?

    Solutions™ is an HTML5 web application used for troubleshooting NORAC products. Solutions™ allows you to enter product information and then select the symptom you are experiencing. From there it will guide you through a series of steps and tests to help you diagnose the problem based on the product information you have entered.

  2. Which internet browsers are supported?

    Solutions™ requires an HTML5 compatible web browser. The following web browsers have been tested to work with Solutions™:

    • Internet Explorer - version 9+
    • Google Chrome - version 23+
    • Firefox - version 17+
    • Safari - version 6+

    Please note if your operating system is Windows XP, the latest available version of Internet Explorer is version 8. You will need to use a different internet browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari if your operating system is Windows XP

  3. Can I use Solutions™ on my Smart Phone or Tablet?

    Yes, Solutions™ is compatible with the following smart phone and tablet browsers:

    • Apple iPad and iPhone iOS 6+
    • Google Android 4+
    • BlackBerry Tablet 2.1+, and Smartphone BB 10.1+
    • Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5+

  4. Can I use Solutions™ if I don’t have internet access?

    Yes. Solutions™ will work both online and offline on your PC and mobile device. However, you will need to have internet access the first time you register and login.

    Special case: When using Internet Explorer 9 then Solutions™ must already be open (and remain opened), before beginning to work offline.

  5. Why do I need to enter my email address?

    Your email address is used to login to Solutions™. After you have completed the diagnostic steps, Solutions™ will email you a copy of the diagnostic steps you have performed.

  6. Why does my browser ask me to store data offline?

    Solutions™ will work both online and offline on your PC and mobile device. Some browsers may display a prompt asking you if you want to store offline data. Select yes to allow offline data for Solutions™ to work when you do not have internet access.

  7. What information do I need to start troubleshooting?

    1. Norac model.
    2. Sprayer make and model.
    3. Display model.
    4. Control Panel or Control Module firmware version.
    5. Installed options.

  8. Why is there a customer information field?

    You can optionally enter the Customer Information for your reference. Your diagnostic history and emails are labeled by the customer name.

  9. I went through all the troubleshooting steps and I still cannot solve my problem.

    If your height control system was installed as an OEM factory option then please contact your local dealer for assistance.
    For all other height control systems, you can contact NORAC using the information found here.

  10. I am having problems with the Solutions™ application.

    If you are having problems with the Solutions™ application, try the following steps:

    • Ensure you have the latest version of your browser.
    • Close all tabs and windows in your browser and then start the browser again.
    • Clear the cache, history and offline data in your browser.
    • Restart your computer.
